Koji returned and looked great last night, and it's also quite a relief seeing that both Xander Bogaerts and Pablo Sandoval's injuries are cleared. Sandoval will take a day off and Brock Hold will play third base today. Is there any position Holt can't handle?
Papi will sit and Allen Craig will start first base, moving Napoli to DH. Besides the starting rotation, the depth of position players this season of the Sox is pretty deep and versatile. Love that.

The Sox always lose on Ben Affleck's birthday. It seems I'm in the same league with Ben today. Wade Miley was terrible and the Sox lost 5-10 in the end.
I believe in good pitching. No quality start, no winning. I find myself having little faith in Masterson and Miley. Bucky is good but each time he's out there pitching is like rolling a dice. You'd never know which Bucky you'd see that night. With a rotation like this, if the Sox is going to win they need to really overpower opponents with hitting. This doesn't look good in the long run to me.
The Sox is having a day off tomorrow and facing the Orioles on Friday. I hope they can win that series too.
